Peaceful stay in the countryside
Midtgaard is located in the small village of Oedis-Bramdrup close to Kolding.
The apartment is located on the 1st floor of the farm's main house and has its own entrance.
The apartment's 110 square meters contains a large living area with dining room and TV room, in open connection with the kitchen. From the kitchen there is access to a bathroom, equipped with toilet and shower.
In addition, there are 3 rooms with a total of 8 beds. If desired, we can provide a cot.
In the apartment you will encounter the visible beams across the rooms.
Towels and bed linen are included.
Cleaning is included in the price, but the apartment must be left tidy, the dishes in the kitchen must be washed, the garbage must be removed and the bed linen must be taken off.
We live on the ground floor ourselves, and the floor between the floors is sound, so we ask that this be taken into account.
Hear the birds sing
Do you dream of peace, high up in the sky and close to nature? Then pull the plug on Midtgård.
In spring, the flowers in the garden sprout and the trees turn green, and the birds sing from morning to evening.
Enjoy the warmth of summer in the courtyard, or a beautiful sunset from one of the garden benches.
In the distance, you hear the neighbor's chickens, see a red kite, a raven or a flock of geese passing in the sky, while the wind rustles in the trees. If you are lucky, the fallow deer also visit the courtyard.
If you take a walk down to the garden in late summer and autumn, you can taste a sun-ripened raspberry or a crisp apple, and maybe a heron flies up from the small lake at the edge of the forest.
Midtgaard was built in 1848, and many of the original details have been preserved, so it oozes nostalgia and history.
We, Marie & Marco, as well as our girls, Dagmar and Ingrid, now live on the farm.
You will also meet the farm's two cats. Mr. Grey likes to be petted, and probably wants to go inside, the same goes for the red cat, Karen, but since the apartment is pet-free, they should preferably stay outside, and we kindly ask that they not be fed.
